Where do I log in to Search Console?

Log in to Google Search Console at https://search.google.com/search-console using the Google account that has access to the relevant property. After signing in, select the property from the account menu to view its search performance, indexing and technical reports.

Log in to Search Console at https://search.google.com/search-console with the Google account that has access to your website property. Once signed in, use the property selector to choose the relevant website, URL-prefix property or domain property, then open the report you need.

Search Console does not use a separate SEO System username or password. Access is controlled by the Google account and the permissions assigned to that account for each property. If you use more than one Google account, check that you are signed in to the account used during verification or the one that was granted access by another property owner.

To access your property:

  1. Open https://search.google.com/search-console.
  2. Sign in with the appropriate Google account if prompted.
  3. Open the property selector at the top of the Search Console interface.
  4. Select the website property you want to review.
  5. Choose a report, such as Performance, Indexing or Experience, from the navigation menu.

If the property is not listed, confirm that you have selected the correct Google account. You may also be looking for a different property version. Search Console can contain separate entries for a domain property and a URL-prefix property, such as a version using HTTPS, a subdomain or a specific path. Select the entry that matches the site or section you intend to analyse.

A missing property usually means that the account does not have permission to access it, the property has not yet been added, or the address does not match the verified version. An owner or user with suitable permissions can add your Google account in the property’s user management settings. If nobody with access can manage the property, you may need to complete the ownership verification process before its reports become available.

Search Console access is separate from access to your website’s hosting, content management system and analytics tools. Being able to edit the website does not automatically give an account access to Search Console, and access to Search Console does not necessarily provide permission to change the website.

If the page keeps redirecting to a sign-in screen, try signing out of other Google accounts, opening the login page in a private browser window, or using a different browser profile. These steps can help identify whether the wrong account is being selected. Also check that your organisation’s account has not restricted access to the relevant Google services.

After you log in, review the property selector before interpreting any data. Reports are property-specific, so impressions, clicks, indexing status and technical issues shown in Search Console relate only to the selected property. If you still cannot find the correct entry, see the guidance on fixing a missing Search Console property or verifying ownership in Search Console.

After signing in to Google Search Console, use the property selector to choose the website you want to analyse. The selected property determines which impressions, clicks, indexing data and technical reports you see, so check that it matches the intended domain, subdomain or URL prefix before reviewing the data.

If the property is not listed, confirm that you are using the Google account that was verified or granted access. A domain property and a URL-prefix property can appear as separate entries, even when they relate to the same website.
